2025 C.A.L.L.E. DE AZ, our unwavering passion lies in nurturing the dreams of the youth within our vibrant community. We firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. That's why we've committed a portion of the proceeds from our annual event to create the CALLE DE AZ Scholarship Fund.
2025 SCHOLARSHIP C.A.L.L.E. de Arizona Scholarship Criteria
**Eligibility Requirements :**
- 1. Open to any student who can demonstrate an impact on or commitment to the Latino Community
- 2. The applicant must be currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program or planning to enroll in the fall of 2025 at one of the Arizona State universities, in person or virtually.
- 3. The applicant must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
**Application Deadline:**
- -February 24, 2025
**Application Materials :**
- Applicants must submit the following materials for consideration:
- 1. **Completed Application Form:** A fully filled out scholarship application form.
- 2. **Unofficial School Transcripts:** Copies of unofficial transcripts from the applicant's current educational institution.

3. **Three Letters of Recommendation:** -
1. Academic Letter: A recommendation from a current or recent academic instructor or professor.
1. Personal Letter: A letter from someone who can speak to the applicant’s character and personal qualities.
1. Professional Letter: A recommendation from a current or recent employer or supervisor (if applicable). - 4. **Essay Submission:** Applicants must submit a well-written essay on the following topic: The Importance of Community, Cultural Diversity. The essay should discuss the significance of cultural diversity within a community and explain how it contributes to society’s well-being and growth. How will you impact or contribute to the Latino Community. Essays must be double-spaced, at least 500 words, and submitted as a Word document.
**Scholarship Awards and Presentation:**
- Three (3) scholarships, each worth $1,000, will be awarded. Scholarship recipients will be announced and presented with their awards at the Second Annual Phoenix Mariachi and Folklórico Festival on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at The Herberger Theater Center. Winners must be present to receive their scholarship.
